At Clay Shaw Butler we prepare statutory annual accounts for Corporate entities, Charities, Clubs and Associations and Not For Profit Organisations as well as accounts for unincorporated sole traders and partnerships.
We are happy to prepare accounts from incomplete, manual, or computerised business records. No matter how large or small we have suitably qualified and experienced team members.
We have in depth knowledge of different accounting software (desktop and cloud based solutions).
We will send you reminders when your accounts are due for preparation at the year end and at regular intervals until your accounting records are submitted to ensure that any late filing penalties are avoided.
We will take time to sit down with you and discuss the annual accounts and Tax Returns in detail and clearly explain the tax savings that we have achieved for you.
Based on your annual accounts, we will explain why, when and how much tax needs to be paid for the relevant tax year. We will also review your trading results and identify areas requiring your attention and other Key Performance Indictors (KPIs) - and we have no doubts, you should be pleasantly surprised!
In light of the Government’s announcement, we wanted to let you know that the majority of our team will now be working from home.
We have a robust IT infrastructure in place to ensure business continuity. Most client records are held electronically so we can access all documents whilst working remotely. You can deal with your CSB contact in the usual way by phone or email.
At the moment, the office has sufficient staff to deal with mail daily. Our reception door will remain closed. Should clients be required to drop off or collect records, this can be facilitated by knocking the door or contacting us in advance.
We will continue to adhere to Government guidelines and at this current time all our meetings will be undertaken by email, telephone, mail or video calling to protect all involved.
Our staff’s welfare continues to be of paramount importance and we believe it is essential that as a responsible business we do our part in supporting staff and delaying the spread of the virus.
This is an unprecedented and challenging time for all of us. Our main aim is to continue to provide a valuable and quality service to all our clients. We appreciate that difficult decisions are having to be made and we would like to reassure you that we are here to provide any advice and support you require at this current time.
Stay safe and well.
